Profile of four of the children who live at Colonia Ecologica:

Cesar:

Cesar is years old, and is a healthy, happy boy in primary school. When he was 6 years old, he began work, cleaning cars and singing on buses in order to survive from day to day. He does not remember his father, who disowned him at an early age. At the age of 8, he arrived at Colonia Ecologica, where he has responded positively and adapted quickly to the structure and warmth of family life. He likes football and reading.

Miriam:

Miriam is years old, her father is dead and she only has her mother. She lives at Colonia Ecologica, and she is characterised by her wide smile - she is always happy. She enjoys painting and ‘thunkuña’, a traditional Bolivian game.

Freddy:

Freddy is years old, and was abandoned by his parents a long time ago. He has a natural curiousity and is an especially cheerful boy. He studies in the mornings. He likes to watch and play football. He is a boy who brings lots of smiles and happiness to Colonia.

Oscar:

Coming from a family of six, he is the fourth child. His father abandoned them and his mother keeps the rest of the family by selling food. He is years old and a very responsible student. When he finishes school, he wants to study car mechanics and has already demonstrated his abilities and interest in this field . His favourite sport is football.
