Gobi Desert sponsored race

Claire Boost, a friend of Sarah who is currently volunteering in Bolivia at Colonia Ecologica, is going to be taking part of the Gobi March starting on 17th June.

The Gobi March is a self-supported footrace across 150 miles (250 kilometres) of the Gobi Desert in China. The race consists of six stages, lasting 7 days, with distances ranging from 10 to 50 miles (20 - 80 kilometres) per stage. She will be experiencing a wide range of terrain and weather, with sand dunes up to 300m high and temperatures reaching 40 degrees.

Claire is collecting sponsor money for Charity Bolivia, and we would like to thank her for this and to wish her the best of luck in the race.
